A Secret of Saree...Indian Cinema

.
The Saree was recreated in Indian Cinema as a very elegant and sexy outfit for women. Here are some of these women, who managed to make a mark by wearing a saree and immortalized their own image.

Sushmita Sen carried herself very well opposite Shah RukhKhan in ‘Main Hoon Naa’. All the sarees she wore in the movie looked exceptionally well on her and she managed to create the best elegant with sensual feel required for the role she played as a college professor. Sridevi in Mr. India sizzled , with the blue saree she wore in a rain-dance sequence. Kareena Kapoor gave the saree a new look with the ‘Halkat Jawaani’ number in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, as she recreated the ‘oomph’ factor with the red saree in ‘Chhamak Challo’ from Ra.One. Priyanka Chopra wore a sizzling, backless saree in Dostana for the song ‘Desi Girl’. Kajol made it clear that the saree can be worn in a very traditional way and still make an impression . Raveena made the news in the 90’s when she did the all time sexiest rain-dance sequence in a yellow saree, for ‘Mohra’. Aishwarya Rai bachchan wore the most heavily embroidered set of sarees for ‘Devdas’.
