Poonam bans the Bra

Poonam Pandey is back in the news.

The controversy-spurning model-cum-Internet celebrity has admitted to not having worn a brazier for over a year. She insists that it isn’t to make a statement, but only because it makes her uncomfortable. "People think I'm trying to make a fashion statement because I never wear a bra. It's really that I'm a tomboy at heart. I wanted to be the first woman to burn her bra, but it would have taken the fire department four days to put it out,” she wrote.

Considering her previous exploits (yes, she offered to strip publicly should Team India being home the ICC World Cup, 2011), it’s no surprise that she’s also posted along a close up image of her torso, while wearing a body-hugging top, without bra. “Quit wearing a bra full time over a year ago. It's not a feminist statement. I just find them uncomfortable. I have no stance on bras,” she ‘clarifies’.

So much for fashion or feminism- we say, way to go, Poonam- It’s not like agreeing or disagreeing will make you rethink!
