The Aamir-SRK tug-o-war for Katrina!

aamir khan, katrina kaif, kat, aamir, shah rukh khan, srk, shah rukh, srk news, katrina, salman, ek tha tiger, dhoom 3, untitled, yash chopra, yrf, films, bollywood news, films of india, Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan’s Untitled Yash Chopra romance has got the attention of all cinema-goers as the trailers have been showcased before the movies start on screen. The actor, along with the leading ladies of the film Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, has been really engrossed in the shoot, currently taking place in Ladakh, and wants to give his all to the film.

So when it comes to having the characters in the film around to make for the best performance, SRK has requested that Katrina stays with the crew through the entire schedule. An insider reports, “Katrina, who left for Ladakh today, was supposed to shoot for two weeks with Shah Rukh and the head to Chicago (for Dhoom 3). But now on SRK’s request, she is staying back until the first week of September. SRK wants her to be part of the schedule when he’s shooting solo. That way he feels he would be better able to focus on the complicated scenes.”

One would have thought that the dates were extendable, considering that Dhoom 3 and this untitled film are both YRF productions. But fact remains that Aamir Khan, Katrina’s co-star in Dhoom 3, has been hoping to rehearse their fight scenes and stunts together before facing the camera. This wish has been postponed repeatedly, first due to Aamir’s TV show schedule and now due to Katrina’s work commitments. A source close to the actress informs, “The original plan was to have Kat and Aamir practice all their stunts together. That’s how Aamir willed it. But unfortunately the two never got around to exchanging anything more than courtesies. Now there’s no time. When Katrina joins Aamir is Chicago, it’s straight for the camera.”

Considering that SRK and Aamir aren’t exactly the best of friends, we only hope that this shuffle of schedule doesn’t affect Kat’s equation with either!
