There has been no movie yet which has had Bollywood big shots, Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt in it. Both these actors have shared the big screen space only once – in the title track of Om Shanti Om. Other than that, they were seen together only on television when SRK came as a celebrity guest to promote his Ra.One on Sanju Baba’s show Bigg Boss 5. But if all goes well, the two superstars may soon share more time on screen together in Agneepath director Karan Malhotra’s next.

There were rumours that the movie being talked about would be a sequel to Malhotra’s directorial, Agneepath. But the director has clarified that the new venture will have an original idea. “All I can say at the moment is that I do have a film in mind and it’s not a sequel or a remake. As soon as I have a clearer picture I will first tell my producer Karan Johar about it, and then share it with the world,” Malhotra said.

Apparently, the movie will have tailor made roles for both SRK and Sanjay Dutt and will be a rugged action film. While the two actors have been very friendly off screen, they have never come together for a full-fledged production ever. This would be the first.

In the recent past, it was believed that Karan Johar’s production was moving away from their favourite actor Shah Rukh, but this project seems to clear those misconceptions. Apparently there will be one more movie that the production house will be doing with SRK.

We just hope that the Midas touch of the SRK-Karan jodi continues.
