The trend for raunchy, sexy item numbers in Bollywood
started with ‘Munni’ in Dabangg, followed by Katrina Kaif talking about her
jawaani. And now, our actresses are keen to don a dual avatar – that of the
heroine of a film and of the item girl as well. The more popular an item song
is, higher shoots the popularity of the actress. No wonder, there is serious
competition as to which item number becomes a rage among the audience.
When Kareena Kapoor matkaao’d her kamar as Shah Rukh Khan’s
‘Chammak Challo’ in Ra.One, many a people gawked at her awe-struck. And
now, Kareena will be doing an item number in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2.
Not just this, she will also be doing an item song in her own movie Heroine.
News is that the item song in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine will be
called ‘Halkat Jawaani’.
Director Madhur Bhandarkar confirmed that 40% of the
shooting is already done. From April 10, the crew will again be having a
non-stop shooting schedule.
Seems like Bebo is trying her best to win the race and
become the No.1 Heroine of Bollywood.
