Diwali 2013 could turn out to be a little damp for Hrithik Roshan.
The actor, who is all set to release his super-hero flick Krrish 3 in the festive season may have trouble publicising it, with all the Khans contemplating their releases around the same time. Salman Khan's Kick will be scheduled for Diwali, with his Sher Khan set to release on Eid. Meanwhile Shah Rukh Khan
is planning to tune the release of his 'Chennai Express' by filmmaker
Rohit Shetty around the same time, even though they finish shooting much
before then. Not only that Rajkumar Hirani recently confirmed plans for his Aamir Khan-starrer Peekay for right about then.
Adds
an insider, “The shoot of Chennai Express should begin in a few weeks,
while Kick is also expected to go on the floors by November. Rohit
Shetty has a good record with Diwali and looking at SRK's fascination
with the festival, the duo wouldn't mind waiting for a little while even
though the film's shooting is expected to get over much sooner. Salman
on the other hand, would start shooting for Shirish Kunder's Kick in
November. He has allotted dates to Sajid Nadiadwala.”
Though
there's no word about it from the Roshan camp, we're guessing the
jammed dates around the release of their much-talked about film may
cause some friction. But with a community as unpredictable as Bollywood,
you can never tell!
