You’d think that the tagline for Shirish Kunder’s next would miff Salman Khan, but it didn’t.
The movie’s Joker and the tag line’s ‘Being Alien’. Of course it seems to be taking a dig at Sallu’s organisation ‘Being Human’. But turns out Farah Khan
and her director husband have spoken to the actor before finalising on
the line. "It is evident from the trailer that it is a very different
film. We have asked Salman and we have actually taken the 'Being Alien'
caption from 'Being Human'," says Farah.
The movie is about, well, aliens, and stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade and Minissa Lamba. The story has nothing to do with the actor or his organization, hence the filmmakers needed to clarify.
"We
are not taking a dig at him because the movie is about aliens and crop
circles. So we asked him and he thought it was very funny and he said
'Please use it'," assures Farah.
The movie will release later this
year and was to be an ambitious 3D project. However that didn’t work
out. The promotions are all set and seem unique with those involved
dressing up as aliens and meeting people from the film industry.
As ‘alien’ as the movie is, we hope it makes a connection with earthlings!
