Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger has broken all imaginable records.
The
Independence Day release saw the theatres being crowded to the point
of over-flow. With ticket prices shooting to over Rs 750 per ticket,
this YRF production has collected Rs 30 Cr on the first day itself.
Experts have predicted that Ek Tha Tiger will not only break the
records in numbers, but will do so at record speed as well. This,
however, is only the beginning- the sales are expected to shoot up
further by weekend. Come Eid, and a further jump in sales is
predicted.
Theatres had a gala time on Wednesday as people literally flocked to catch this Salman-Katrina Kaif-starrer.
At many places, police personnel stood at guard making sure that
there is no chaos. Patrons have been asked to go back because of
packed houses. As a theatre owner predicts, it's not impossible for
this movie to enter the 150 Cr market at this rate!
It's only a matter of time now for Ek Tha Tiger to create history!
