Deepika discusses 'Cocktail' on Extraaa Innings

Deepika Padukone was invited to the sets of Extraaa Innings recently to promote her upcoming film “Cocktail”. There were talks about her movie and also the recent IPL matches. 

Deepika also had a chance to interact with the media. When asked about the film and her character in the film she said, “I play the character of Veronica who is a very outspoken girl. She has own outlook towards the society and is a very confident girl. She has a very self-assured personality”.

She adds, “Of course when Saif and I are seen together the audiences recollect our movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’. But ‘Cocktail’ is a very different movie. Yes it has been written by Imtiyaz Ali, but has been directed by Homi Adajaniya who directed ‘Being Cyrus’. Yes ‘Cocktail’ is a love story, but a twisted one”.

When asked about her best friend Deepika said, “My bestest is Shahana Goswami. She is one person who I’ve always been very close too. Whenever I get back to Mumbai after my outdoor shoots, she is the first person is call”. Watch Deepika talk about Cocktail & her best-friend HERE
