Multiplex staff to wear "Papa toh band bajaaye" costumes

Sajid Khan’s much talked about film Housefull 2 will be releasing tomorrow and the director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, are leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie. They are using their latest promotional tactic in the multiplexes where in the staff will be wearing vibrant neon costumes and retro glares like the male actors did in the song, Papa Toh Band Bajaye.
In the song, Akshay Kumar, Ritiesh Deshmukh, John Abraham and Shreyas Talpade are sporting such costumes and it has become extremely popular with the audience.

A source said "It's a unique and different way of promoting the film at various multiplexes in Mumbai and cities across India. The song has been choreographed by Farah Khan and look and styling done by Aki Narula.
People are loving the fluorescent colours, gelled look and retro glasses - the 1970's look in the song. Every film has one USP and the Papa...song is that in Housefull 2. By getting the multiplex staff to sport the same look will probably help the movie in its collections. In fact, Sajid has also started giving out the outfits, glares etc, on Twitter and other websites as prizes for contests. At the recently held Singapore premiere of the film, gifts and other merchandise from the song were given out."
Nadiadwala says, "The Papa toh band bajaye song and the look of the artistes have become so popular that we decided to market this at a promotional level on a grand scale."
