People eagerly wait for Vidhu Vinod Chopra movies to release. Ferrari Ki Sawaari is the movie which was next in line to release from his production. But his fans will be disappointed as the movie has been further delayed. The reason behind it is the much hyped 5th edition of IPL.
The movie which was scheduled to release in the last week of April has now been postponed to June. The makers of the film had doubts in their mind as to whether people will come to watch their film when the IPL would be on. So in order to avoid empty movie halls, they decided to push back the release to more than a month.
A source said, “It wasn’t just the IPL, but a lot of reasons forced the makers to postpone their release. The month of May is packed with about 15 movies scheduled for release. It makes sense for them to look at June instead since there are far lesser films planned then.”
Ferrari ki sawaari has Sharman Joshi in the lead for the first time. The movie also has Boman Irani and Vidya Balan in a special appearance.
