Generally, when an actor mouths a good dialogue, or executes a brilliant scene well, he is appreciated for it. People remember the dialogues, the movie, the character and the actor. But hardly ever is the dialogue and script writer popular with the audience. In such a scenario, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan feels the need to give the writers their due credit.
Senior Bachchan tweeted, "I do believe script, dialogue and screenplay writers are true actors of a film...follow them diligently, and you cannot go wrong".
Amitabh who was once known as the “Angry young man” of Indian Cinema thanked scriptwriter duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar for giving him the image with movies like Zanjeer, Deewar and Sholay.
"Narration by Salim-Javed on all my scripts they wrote, did 90 percent of the job for me...," he further tweeted.
Amitabh Bachchan may be the first man of Bollywood. But he surely knows how everyone should be thanked and appreciated.
